HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In January 2008 we had lots of fun...playing on my activity mat, sitting up on my boppy pillow, chilling in my swing, and watching the PATS with my dad.

Jack's First Christmas

Jack had a wonderful first Christmas. On Dec 15th we had the family party at Grammy's and Papa's house where we got to hang out with lots of family. It was really fun because Cousin Quinlan was there!!



On Christmas Eve we headed to Gram and Grandpa Bruce's house where we celebrated with Uncle Bobby, Auntie Jackie, and Great Aunt Lisa, and second cousins Brendan, Vicki, and Eric.

Jack's First Friends

In Early November Jack and I joined a new mom's group at Isis Maternity in Needham. The group was called Great Beginnings and there were 10 babies in the group. It ran until the second week of December and we met some great moms and babies. Jack and I still get together with some of our new friends from time to time. Here are some pictures from the last class we had in December!

Jack's Christening

Jack was Christened on Sunday, November 19, 2007 at St. Zeperhin's Church in Wayland. It was a small gathering of close family including Jack's godparents Sean Slavin & Kelly Cunniffe. After the church we all headed to the Slavin's house for a nice celebration!

First Photo Shoot

Mom, Gram, and Jack all headed to the Natick Mall on November 21, 2007 for Jack's First official photo shoot. We got some great shots!

Jack's First Month

It was amazing how fast Jack's one month mark came. Jack, Mom, and Dad were finally getting the hang of this new family thing. Jack slept and ate a lot. We had MANY visitors including Grammy and Papa Slavin, Gram and Grandpa Bruce, Uncle Sean, Aunt Dardy, Cousin Quinlan, Aunties Kelly, Kristen, Caitlin, and Uncle Bobby and Aunt Jackie. Lots of friends stopped by including all the Natick guys, their wives, and little ones.

Welcome Baby Jack!

Jack Timothy Slavin arrived at 1:25pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. He was one week and one day late! After HOURS of labor, including 4 hours of pushing he made his grand entrance. He weighed in at a mere 8 lbs. and 11oz. and 20.5 inches. Jack was delivered by Dr. Ackerman at the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston.
